Today, the Obama Administration confirmed that the sale of the White House to China has been finalized. White House spokesman Robert Gibbs stated, that while the majority of the country may have negative feelings concerning the sale; it will be better in the long run because the place was getting “really old.”

The deal has been rumored for weeks, and is believed to have been finalized during the recent state dinner which the President hosted for Chinese dignitaries. Attendees noted that things seemed odd at the White House that night. With several people commenting on the fact that U-Haul boxes were scattered throughout the hallways.

“I really don’t know what the big deal about this is,” President Obama remarked this morning. “Hell, it’s not like there were any other serious bids on the place. Believe me, it’s not a bad deal even though we had pay part of their closing costs.”
